Dominant Systems Corporation has been awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Washtenaw County Waste Knot Award Program. The event, held in honor of Earth Day, took place at the Ypsilanti Marriott – Eagle Crest on May 2. This award recognizes their commitment to waste prevention and recycling.
This is the first year of recognition for Dominant Systems, although Washtenaw County is currently operating its fifth year of the Waste Knot Awards Program. The program was first implemented in 1998 as a way to recognize businesses, schools, non-profit agencies, and governmental agencies that have implemented a successful waste reduction and recycling program. The Waste Knot program currently boasts a total of 106 business partners throughout the county.
