Shelley Gaskin, Series Editor for the GO! Series, is a professor of business and computer technology at Pasadena City College in Pasadena, California. She holds a master's degree in business education from Northern Illinois   University and a doctorate in adult and community education from Ball State University. Dr. Gaskin has 15 years of experience in the computer industry with several Fortune 500 companies and has developed and written training materials for custom systems applications in both the public and private sector. She is also the author of books on Microsoft Outlook and word processing.

Series) (Paperback) Just recently got a brand-spankin' new laptop with all the up-to-date Microsoft programs so I could take some online classes. Laptop came in handy as I just finished my Excel online class. Part of the requirement for taking my Excel online class is the purchase of this textbook - GO! with Microsoft Excel 2007 Comprensive. This book covers all the features of Excel 2007, in the form of projects. Each chapter and subsection you will be completing a tedious project that will thoroughly walk you thru every single feature. Also comes with a CD that contains the Student Files to complete the projects. After you are done with all the projects, you will be an Excel expert. Drawbacks include the loose binding and big price of this large textbook. Otherwise, not a bad book to get you going in the world of Excel computing.
