This is an ideal way to get into the the most used animation program in web design:Macromedia Flash. The basics of the program, and its tools, are explained in a clear concise manner and you are brought into using the program from the first page. This is not a read it and then figure it out type of book. Its an exercise book, first and foremost, and the lessons take you from beginning projects where you learn by doing, into more complex stuff, where the true power of this program becomes apparent. And yes, you got to do some "WOW" stuff as well. From drawing tools and masking projects, to creating buttons and adding animations and actions to them, the book gets you into really adding neat stuff to your web sites. It even has a chapter on using this program with Dreamweaver. This book will have you well on the way to being truly creative in Flash.
