If you can prove that you know what you're doing as an administrator and programmer of these powerful pieces of software, lots of good work is yours for the asking. Lotus Notes and Domino R5 All-In-One Exam Guide will help you prepare for and pass a number of IBM/Lotus exams. Specifically, it covers the material on the Certified Lotus Professional (CLP), Principal CLP, and Certified Lotus Instructor (CLI) test batteries. Because there's a lot of overlap among the certifications and the tests required for each, the authors take a holistic approach to Notes and Domino knowledge that cuts down on repetition in this big, hardcover book.
Rather than bog the reader down in numbing procedures, the authors take a "best practices" approach that rewards attentive reading with frequent trips to the software interface to check out features the book introduces. This book may be a bit too text-heavy to serve as a ready reference after you've earned your certificate (it's hard to pick out configuration options that might fit well in tables), but there are other documents for that. I'm working with notes since two years, and I've done many courses. 3 Weeks ago I started the CLP test series. The 520 Test I passed with a score of 82%, the 521 with a score of 89% and the 3th one 522 today with 80%. I have learned only with this book and old online tests. I passed all the exams the first time and I'm not good in testwriting, I'm to nervous. I recomend this book to anyone who would like to become a Certified Lotus Administrator.
