About The Author
Darl Kuhn, an Oracle DBA and software developer with 18 years of experience, is a senior DBA with Sun Microsystems. Before joining Sun, his work as a consultant ranged from database administration to custom application development. Darl is a coauthor of Oracle RMAN Pocket Reference and has written several articles for Oracle Magazine. He is an affiliate professor at Regis University where he teaches Oracle courses for the graduate department of computer information technology. For the past 9 years, Darl has served as a volunteer DBA and developer for the Rocky Mountain Oracle Users Group. Darl has an MBA from Colorado State University and currently lives in Littleton, Colorado.
