Product Description
Written for legal professionals, this comprehensive desk reference lists, categorizes and describes hundreds of free and fee-based Internet sites. You'll find it useful for investigations, depositions, and trial presentations, as well as company and medical research, gathering competitive intelligence, finding expert witnesses, and fact checking of all kinds.
Customer Reviews & Comments This book has long held a cherished space on my bookcase, and it just keeps getting better. With the 700 page third edition, authors Carole Levitt and Mark Rosch have outdone themselves in collecting sources for everything to doing background checks on employees to doing competitive intelligence - and everything in between. While it is invaluble for lawyers, anyone can benfit from using this book - and the language is plain English, not legalese. The book is user-friendly, with lots of screen shots, and comes with a CD-ROM so you can click on hyperlinks without typing in URLs. All in all, this is a terrific compendium of Internet research sources - bravo!
