From the supplier: Howard University's Information Center uses Lotus's SmartSuite to support its PC users. Information Center Administrator Clint Walker became interested in Lotus initially because of its quality sales force and his previous experience with the company; he was convinced that the software was the best choice for the university by how well the different Lotus applications worked together. SmartSuite's ability to let users work with different applications together met the university's need to standardize on software, reduced training time, lowered support costs, and increased productivity. The programs' SmartIcons let users move from one application to another without having to abandon the original application, which makes it easier to assemble data from disparate documents. How SmartSuite has made the work of the Information Center's Help Desk easier is described.
