About The Author
An award-winning lyricist, popular writer, and sought-after speaker, Claire Cloninger is one of the country's foremost Christian communicators. She is a five-time Gospel Music Association Dove Award winner whose Christian songs have been widely recorded by such artists as Amy Grant, Sandi Patti, Wayne Watson, and B. J. Thomas. She has written more than two dozen musicals for church choir including My Utmost for His Highest, Experiencing God, and Welcome to Our World.

Claire holds a B. A. and an M. A. in Education from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, where she was named Outstanding Alumna in 1991. Her teaching skills are put to good use in her national ministry as an inspirational speaker and retreat leader.
Claire and her husband, Robert, an artist, reside in a log home on the banks of a river in Alabama. They are active members of Christ Anglican Church, where he is Chairman of the Evangelism Committee and she serves on the Parish Prayer Team. They are the parents of two grown sons and grandparents of two granddaughters and one grandson.

This is a fantastic book! My son is 11 and we use this book for a morning devotional before school. It takes about three minutes. He reads the Bible verse from the Bible (even though it is on the page, we save this option for when we are running so late that we have to do it in the car), then we read the email from God. The emails focus on one point and are great for kids as well as adults. This helps us focus on God before rushing off to school. We have been doing these as devotionals since elementary school. Kids could do it by themselves but I like to hear the message with my son and really encourage him to apply it in his day. I highly recommend this book.
