I've only had this laminated reference card for a few days, but in that short time it's proven to be very helpful. I have an excellent book about my camera - Nikon D40/D40x Digital Field Guide - which is easy enough to put into the car with me. But this little fold-out card literally fits into the smaller, fitted bag in which I like to carry my D40x whenever possible. Because it's right there at the moment I'm taking pictures, it's been invaluable as I learn how to use my first digital SLR camera. Just one example: its chart with thumbnail statements of what each flash setting means. I suppose that if I'm very smart and very lucky, someday I might know so much that I won't need to consult either my "Field Guide" book or this reference card. But until then, this card goes wherever the camera does.
