About The Author
Michael Wright is a photographer and artist who teaches art and photography at Hertfordshire University in the UK. He is the author of three books: the forthcoming Step by Step Digital Family Photographs (Ilex), An Introduction to Mixed Media and An Introduction to Pastels (both DK).

I struggled for years with photoshop elements and had just about given up. I even went out and bought another program to process my photos. This books puts it in easy to use, step by step instruction. The author makes it so easy and the user becomes very proficient and comfortable with Elements very quickly. Included are photos of the screens to use to enhance your photos in numerical sequence and walks the user through the process beginning to end. The information about digital photography, lighting etc. is also most helpful and makes the entire digital experience easy to understand. This is the very best book about digital photography and Photoshop Elements I have ever seen and I have bought them all from the Idiot's Guides to books about Elements. This is the absolutely MUST have for anyone who is just starting to use a digital camera to the semi advanced user! Highly recommended.
