Crystal Reports 8.0, Level 2, is an instructor-led training (ILT) course designed for beginning users of the Crystal Reports software package. Participants will review the basics of creating, enhancing, and linking tables in a report. Participants will then learn how to perform advanced reporting in creating linked and unlinked subreports, on demand reports, parameter fields for sorting, graphing data, create and use report dictionaries, and create cross-tabs.

About the author Valerie Simpkins – President of PACE Training Group, Inc. Ms. Simpkins has over 17 years of experience in the information technology industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems from Villa Julie College in Maryland. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Advanced Information Technology. Her expertise is in the areas of computer applications design, analysis, development, reporting, consulting, training, and instructor-led courseware development. Valerie has coached individuals, conducted university classes, written course material, provided database consulting, and presented training programs for state and local government agencies as well as private industries. Valerie has developed several relational database applications and has vast experience in data analysis, collection, conversion, and reporting. Her most recent projects have included providing database analysis, reporting, developing and implementing interfaces for importing data, and training on several health information management systems. Her specialty in personal computer software includes such packages as FoxPro, Clipper, R&R Report Writer, Seagate Crystal Reports, SQL, Cognos (Impromptu), ACT!, Microsoft Office suite, dBASE, Lotus Notes, GroupWise, Adobe PageMaker, as well as other proprietary applications.
