From the supplier: The current generation of notebook computers, powered by the Intel 80386SX processor, offer educators a powerful and light-weight tool for storing, processing and displaying a wide range of information. Generally, the notebook computer weighs less than seven pounds, incorporating 1- or 2Mbytes of RAM, a 1.44Mbyte floppy drive and a hard disk, which in some models is expandable to as much as 120Mbytes. Screens on these units typically range from 8.5-in to 10-in with VGA resolutions in as many as 32 shades of grey. Among the notebook computers discussed are ZEOS International Ltd's Notebook+, Radio Shack's Tandy 3820 HD, IBM's PS/2 N51 SX and SLC, Zenith Data Systems Corp's Z-Note series, Fora Inc's NBXS/25, Toshiba Corp's T2200SX, Dell Computer Corp's 320SLi and Apple Computer Inc's Apple Macintosh PowerBook.
