Customer Reviews & Comments If you already know C++ and would like to know C from numerical methods standpoint, get this book. It'd be easy for you to read a whole book within a few weeks. I use this book to learn C to apply these numerical methods toward bioinformatics applications but anyone who wants to learn C from the beginning should also be able to use this book. This book has lots of code examples and a experienced programmer should be able to read those examples and understand what C is like. I'm sure that C is better than Fortran in bioinformatics applications. Cheers!
