I was disappointed. I chose the book hoping to learn how to deal with some of the basic issues in the programming of video. It would have been nice to get a subpixel motion example as well as how to deal with fields when you are scaling an image instead I get overviews on compression, VFW and colorspace. What I am trying to say is that there wasnt much in the way of practical video programming. The other iratation was there was no CD included. So you have transfer every example by hand.
