Customer Reviews & Comments
The problem with "Dummies" and similar books written by people who are experts in their areas is that they've forgotten what it's like not to be a beginner. Consequently, they're often filled with jargon that goes unexplained, processes that leave out steps, and things that just make you go "huh?" This book is no exception to that. While there is a lot of useful information, there are some puzzling gaps that will leave you scratching your head. It assumes more knowledge than the authors let on. This book, like many others in this series, would serve the reader much better if they were written by real writers in association with the real experts. A writer with a real command of the presentation of information would know when to dig deeper and ask more questions when a process isn't clear to the uninitiated reader.
