I am new Illustrator 8 and do not feel comfortable with the Adobe User Guide... which I think is showing too much in a small book... This book is great. It has useful illustrations that greatly supports the explanation. I guess only with enough illustrations one gets to know the features and how the tools can be used in different ways to produce the different effects in the illustrations. This book is a great help to me in learning Illustrator 8. I think you will also love it if you are also new to the software.
