I spend 40-60 hours a week working with BizTalk Server 2006 and helping my customers understand how to architect and build viable solutions. That said, I wondered if I could read a BizTalk book that actually taught me something I hadn't already come across. I was therefore pleasantly surprised to find this book to be such a fantastic resource of new ideas. The chapters on architectural best practices, naming standards, engine internals, pipeline components (zip and PGP!) were worth the price of the book alone. Add the indispensable chapter on tuning (everything from the adapters to CLR) and you've got a book that has to be on everyone's shelf. While not for beginners, this book is valuable even to the most seasoned developer. I just finished buying 50 copies to give away to my local customers.
