Product Description
In this book, you will learn to develop and design reliable BizTalk based solutions. The approach used in this book is to get the reader productive with BizTalk development as quickly as possible. The reader will learn BizTalk by building real and practical small solutions from the outset. The technical background behind these applications as well as the design choices are explained in details. The author's philosophy is always to utilize BizTalk to the fullest, while writing as little code as possible. There are a large number of solutions and applications that are implemented in many organizations which are too complicated and could be replaced by much easier solutions just by utilizing a little bit of smarter configuration. This book is based on the author's experience in creating training material for ISVs, delivering numerous projects, mentoring, and training developers on implementing BizTalk
Customer Reviews & Comments I don't understand what the previous reviewers had in their hands, but this book is by far the worst book I've ever seen in my life. I can't believe that Amazon sells such crap, this book should be illegal:
1) There are literally thousands of spelling errors throughout the book, almost EVERY sentence in the book is misspelled. Unbelievable! But it doesn't stop there, the book is written in broken English, many sentences don't make any sense at all. You have to read each sentence three times to get the point. Capital letters, font sizes and styles are arbitrarily and frequently mixed without any logic throughout the book and aside from occasional dots, almost no other punctuation marks are found. This book is impossible to read!
2) Cross references in the text are totally out of sync and control -- non-existing pictures, code snippets etc. are being cross referenced all over the place making the book totally useless. Many screen shots are unreadable, and some images have been clearly copied from MSDN.
3) It was impossible to read the book past the first chapter due to 1) and 2), but from what I saw in the first chapter, the technical info provided in the book is useless at best, nothing you couldn't find on Google in 10 minutes.
Summary: The book provides no technical value at all and looks like it was written with one hand on a cheap smart phone during a 20 minute ride on an overcrowded bus by a semi-illiterate person with basic command of English language.
Amazon should be so kind and stop selling this book.
