Far and away the best book written about Java, J2EE or WebSphere. A compact read, a fun read, and and easy read. The author has a great way using his way with words to enable to reader to easily conceptualize difficult subject. A great book! It makes WebSphere easy and clear. --Jim Chaung
I spent over $3000 on a WebSphere class, and left totally confused. Discouraged, I was given a copy of this book, and everything came clear. I really wish I read this book instead of taking the class. It's amazing how clear and concise material, that is delivered in a manner that is entertaining and easy to read, can make what are otherwise complex topics, clear and simple. --Katie Heffernan
In an industry where books are typically dry and out of date, this book is entertaining and effective. This is a total, required read for anyone working with, or planning to work with WebSphere. --Michael Carerra

Customer Reviews & Comments
I think the book is easily overpriced by at least $30. The contents in the book serve as just introduction to all the J2EE topics and they sound like a brief canteen chat we have with our fellow programmers. After reading the book you can simply 'talk' about the all the ingredients in J2EE and learn nothing practical.
So if you are programmer and want some in depth knowledge in Websphere usage and it's practical applications, this is not for you.
