This massive book, the 10th edition, published in 1994, is the first edition made available to the general public. In terms of its comprehensiveness, size, heft, and look-and-feel, this dictionary is a lot like Newton's Telecom Dictionary. In fact, this IBM dictionary and Newton's Telecom Dictionary complement each other perfectly, with the former thoroughly covering computing and the latter thoroughly covering telecom and networking.
